Progress on Wicked

We actually made ourselves go to bed early last night (well, early for us) so I could get up earlier today then normal. I just downloaded yesterday's episode of Days of Our Lives on Itunes, so I can watch it here in a few minutes. Usually I record it everyday and watch it at my own convenience, but I forgot to put the tape in the VCR yesterday! We had recorded LOST on Wednesday night, took the tape out of the VCR in the bedroom, and put it into the VCR in the kitchen so we could watch LOST again while we ate dinner. And I forgot to put it back :(

Yeah, I know we are very much obsessed with LOST. You will hear me talk about it a lot.

What TV shows do I always watch?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) - been watching for 16 years, since I was 12 yrs. old!

Medium - I love the paranormal & Patricia Arquette

Ghost Hunters - on the SciFi channel, 2 plumbers from NJ hunting ghosts = AWESOME

The Office - laugh until you just about pee your pants

Nancy Grace - I'm usually at work when the LIVE show airs at 8pm, but they show it again at 11pm and 1am, so I never miss it

LOST - of course (Karen S. you have to start Netflix-ing these!!! I demand it.)

Grey's Anatomy - although I don't think it's as good as it used to be

Saturday Night Live - hit or miss: sometimes it's hilarious, and sometimes it's awful.... I'm still mourning the loss of Amy Poehler & Maya Rudolph.

Supernatural - although we Netflix'd these so I haven't seen any of the 4th season yet!!

Brothers & Sisters - I LOVE Sally Fields, this is a great show & a great cast

Ghost Whisperer - more ghosts ... kinda cheesy but interesting

Ok, I really need to post more.

This needs to become more than my knitting blog.

What have I done today? Absolutely nothing.

I slept a lot. Knitted. Ate some fruit. Got online. Now my hubby is taking a nap.
Yes, what an exciting life I lead.

Does anyone have any fool-proof crock pot/ slow cooker recipes? I want to try some.

I'm currently knitting Wicked. I'm using Cascade Sierra, and I LOVE it.

I can't believe I don't have any socks on my needles?!?! That's a first.

So, who watched Lost last night? AWESOME. Obviously, "Ellie", the young woman on the island holding the gun on Daniel Faraday is his MOTHER, Eloise!! I can't wait to see next week's episode!!

I was doing some shopping today, and as I was walking through Sears, I spotted these out of the corner of my eye. Of course I had to have them. The most adorable Isotoner slippers! One says "Awake" and the other says "Asheep"!

You know you're a knitter when you can spot sheep in your peripheral vision.
